XI CHAPTER

On March 23rd, 2012, twelve strong women established one of Alpha Pi Sigma’s chapters at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Xi chapter currently has over 100 members who strive to uphold Alpha Pi Sigma’s purposes. Through study hours and tutoring groups, these women reach high academic standards as well as building strong networking skills. We also pride ourselves in upholding a professional image.
Our sisters volunteer many hours throughout the school year and beyond to help the Latino community in events such as community cleaning, advocating for the youth, and promoting education. One of our biggest areas of volunteering is with our Chapter Philanthropy, Autism Advocacy. Xi Chapter sets up awareness campaigns and fundraisers in which funds that are collected are donated to local autism groups such as The Autism Program (TAP) in Urbana, IL.
